Hi and welcome to the second edition of The Goalie situation in Edmonton!
Things are going a lot better since I wrote the first edition back in February! Both Mike Smith and Mikko Koskinnen are not injured and ready to play in the first round of the playoffs. Let’s start off with the topic of Mike Smith: Mike has been on FIRE in the last week or so! Two weeks ago Mike was named third star of the week in the entire NHL and that is awesome! He has been between the pipes for a long time now without a break. Secondly, the playoffs. The Oilers found themselves clinching a playoff birth to play the LA Kings in the first round. So like I said, this edition is way more exiting than the first because its rolling a lot better!!!
The third edition is coming mid playoffs if the Oilers are still going. If not, at the end of the season.
